NOISE Moves 2017 Street Arts Academy and WAVE

Based in Adamstown the Street Arts Academy meets during each school holiday for intensive workshops. In 2015 they were recipients of an Arts Council Young Ensembles Award.

WAVE is a young movement ensemble comprised of 4 performers who were born outside of Ireland, yet now call it home. The group came together in order to perform at the National Youth Summit in 2016 and under the direction of Jenny Macdonald, collaborated on devising a spoken word/movement piece centred around "Home" with choreography by Kelvin Akpaloo.

The group have now already performed in three events since their inception and hope to continue to make evocative and powerful pieces with a statement for the foreseeable future.
